Located in one of the most lively, visited and photographed places in the city, is the new premises of Grupo La Reina, a Valencian restaurant company that has just opened the doors of this new restaurant, located at number 19 in Plaza de la Reina. A gastronomic oasis that combines the quality and tradition of Valencian cuisine with a modern and renewed touch. Fresh, natural and seasonal products that go directly from the market to your table.
The restaurant preserves the essence of the original Taberna de La Reina, with an uninterrupted cooking schedule, but this time it specializes in tasty grilled dishes. At the head of the kitchen is the Valencian chef Juan Casamayor, winner of the award for best sandwich in Madrid Fusión 2014 and owner of the company Cooking Business. Casamayor will be accompanied by Alejandro Rosell, who has been part of the cooking team of some of the best restaurants in Valencia. And every Thursday, you have an afterwork date. A well-known proposal that Grupo La Reina has been holding since 2011 in several of its stores, but this time it will be premiering under the name of “Laperitiu”. A meeting to have a good time with friends and co-workers and enjoy the best aperitif.
At Goodwork we put the same passion into our lighting designs as the Mercat de la Reina in the preparation of their dishes and that is why, once again, they entrusted us with the task of lighting their new establishment while maintaining the identity and charm of the place. We are aware that the experience of the client who enters a restaurant is based on three fundamental maxims: service, food and atmosphere; and it is in this last point that we take care of creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, contributing to make the client’s experience memorable.
The lighting was made to fit the architecture and aesthetics of the space, respecting the interiors and mimicking the luminaires with the environment. In this case, the products GW Eco Downlight Slim 8W and 18W and GW Ecolamp 5W were chosen to create colour uniformity by reproducing natural light at 3000ºK. It is a diffuse and homogeneous light, with the right intensity. Lighting without excessive glare, strong shadows or annoying reflections. We have achieved the ideal visual comfort both to appreciate the textures of food and decoration and to communicate with others in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
