ROAD AND URBAN LIGHTING
Street lighting
Lighting needs emissions from road traffic differ from those of needs of pedestrians. The ones criteria for pedestrian lighting no can be the same. In urban areas, the perception of the inmediate surrounding is important to achieve greater safety.
Pedestrian lighting
Is carried out on low hewight supports (3-5m) in urban and residential areas, for pedestrian lighting in squares, sidewalks, gardens, historical centre etc
Road lighting
Highway lighting, motorways, urban roads, tunnels etc. It is carried out on supports of more than of 5m. There are several ways of arrangement for the light points:
Unilateral (on the same side of the track), Bilateral to the knob, Bilateral matched and Central or axial.
UGR and Light pollution
UGR is the Glare Index, a value used to measure visual comfort in conjunction with the direct glare. Glare is the sensation produced by intense shine in the observer’s field of vision. Under current regulations, the UGR is recommended to be less than 19 in certain cases jobs.
Light pollution consists of light emitted or escaping above the horizontal of luminaires, in intensity and spectral ranges where this is not necessary. The luminous energy is wasted and produces a luminous halo or radiance over the populations. The light is sent directly to the sky instead of illuminating the ground.
Photometric reports
The photometric reports of public street, realized with a mobile unit that captures in record time the data necessary for the complete study of photometry.
Available:
- High-precision GPS navigator
- Spectrometer
- Stereographic camera
- Luxmeters
- Data storage system
Distribution estudies
Distance, power and models calculations are made according to each project. It is decided according of the range and beam angle opening that is necessary at any given time.
