GOODWORK MEETING 2010 - SESSIONS FOR LED LIGHTING
Last Thursday December 2, 2010 in Valencia, Goodwork International held 1st meeting. The aim of this meeting was to provide basic training in LED lighting technology to customers and dealers
In the first part of the meeting spoke Mr. Sebastian Rothfuss about the features differentiating Power LED and SMD LED. Emphasis was placed on the best working temperature for the proper functioning of the LED and prolongation of life. Here reference was made to the different types of lenses and their different degrees. Later on Mr. Sebastian Rothfuss explained the difference between LED Driver Transformer and AC / DC. He talked about lumen, lux and Kelvin. DMX512 systems was explained and also some information given about the internal and external decoders.
In the second part, explained information to keep in mind when replacing conventional lighting to high power LED lighting, explained various technical requirements in accordance with regulations to be met in different workplaces or houses.
Also Mr. Sebastian made a brief presentation of new products. As following, were performed works done by Goodwork International, showing the quality of products with tangible projects.
Eventually we gave pass to professionals of the construction sector as an Architect Ana Lozano, which explained how the project took place in the new Casino of Valencia and its relation with Goodwork International. Also noteworthy was the presentation of Carlos Pajaro, a representative of AIDO (Technological Institute of Optics, Colour and Imaging), he showed a specialized software developed for Goodwork International which will soon be available for free to all customers. With this software you can perform the lighting calculations required for any lighting project, simple and professional.
It should be noted that throughout the meeting the guests showed great interest in the issues, actively participating and giving their doubts, which were answered by the team of Goodwork International.
After the positive experience that marked Goodwork Meeting 2010 we are thinking about making the next one, so that all those people who could not come could have opportunity to have such a great experience.
