¿What are LEDs?

LED means "light-emmiting diode". Basically it's a device that inside has a semiconductor material that emits light when applied an electrical current to it.

The color tone of the light depends on the semiconductor material used in manufacture, from infrared to ultraviolet.

Some of the advantages of using LEDs are:
